পাপের শাস্তি শুধু যে পরকালে হবে এমন নয়,
এমন কিছু পাপ রয়েছে যার প্রায়শ্চিত্ত দুনিয়াতেই মানুষকে ভোগ করতে হয় ।
মহান আল্লাহ তাআলা এরশাদ করেন,যে মন্দ কাজ করেন,
তাকে সেই কাজের শাস্তি ভোগ করতে হবে ।
সূরা নিসা, আয়াত 123, ।
অন্য এক আয়াতে আল্লাহ তা’আলা বলেন জলে ও স্থলে মানুষের কৃতকর্মের দারুন বিপর্যয় ছড়িয়ে পড়েছে ।
আল্লাহ তাদের কর্মের শাস্তি আস্বাদন করতে চান ।
যাতে তারা ফিরে আসে।, সূরা রুম , আয়াত 41, ।
পাপাচারী নিমগ্ন হয়ে যারা আল্লাহর নিষেধ ধাকার কথা ভুলে যায় তাদের জন্য আল্লাহ্ তায়ালা হুঁশিয়ারি- এবং যে আমার জিকির থেকে বিমুখ হবে ,
তার জীবনযাত্রা সংকীর্ণ হবে এবং আমি তাকে কেয়ামতের দিন অন্ধ অবস্থায় ওঠাবো ।,
সূরা তাহা আয়াত 124, ।
আল্লাহর সঙ্গে কুফর ও শিরক করাটাও এমন এক মারাত্মক অপরাধ যাতে মানুষের মধ্যে ভয় ভীতি ও আতঙ্ক সৃষ্টি হয় আল্লাহ তা’আলা বলেন,
আমি কাফেরদের অন্তরে ভীতি ঢুকিয়ে দেব তারা আল্লাহর সঙ্গে শিরিক স্থাপন করেছে ।
সূরা আলে ইমরান আয়াত 151, ।
হাদিসের বর্ণনায় যখন কোন সম্প্রদায়ের মধ্যে অশ্লীলতা এমন ভাবে ছড়িয়ে পড়বে যে তারা প্রকাশ্যেই অশ্লীলতার লিপ্ত হতে থাকে , তখন তাদের মধ্যে এমন সব দুরারোগ্য ব্যাধি আক্রান্ত হবে,যা তাদের পূর্বপুরুষদের মধ্যে ছিল না ।
ইবনে মাজাহ যখন কোন জাতির মধ্যে সুদ ব্যাপক আকারে ছড়িয়ে পড়ে সে জাতি ধ্বংস অনিবার্য হয়ে ওঠে ।
পবিত্র কালামে পাকে আল্লাহ তাআলা এরশাদ করেন তিনি সুদ কে ধ্বংস করে দেন এবং দান-সাদকাহ কে বৃদ্ধি করে দেন ।
সূরা বাকারা আয়াত 276, । এই ধ্বংস ও পতন হতে পারে বিভিন্নভাবে যেমন , আসমানে জমিনে বালা-মুসিবত প্রাকৃতিক দুর্যোগ
এর মাধ্যমে সুদের অর্থ ও সুদখোর ধ্বংস হয়ে যেতে পারে ।
মদপান ও জুয়া খেলা উভয়ই শয়তানের কাজ ।
আল্লাহ তাআলা ইরশাদ করেন , হে মুমিনরা মদ, জুয়া,প্রতিমা ও ভাগ্য নির্ধারক সবগুলো শয়তানের কাজ ।
অতএব এগুলো থেকে বেঁচে থাক যাতে তোমরা কল্যাণপ্রাপ্ত হও । সূরা মায়েদা, আয়াত 90, ।
অন্যের সম্পদ আত্মসাৎ , ওজনে কম দেয়া, অন্যায় ভাবে বিচার ফয়সালা করা, প্রতিশ্রুতি ভঙ্গ করা, অপরাধগুলোর শাস্তিও পাপীকে দুনিয়ায় ভোগ করতে হয় ।
রাসূল (সাঃ) ইরশাদ করেন কোন জাতির লোকেরা অন্যায় ভাবে বিচার ফয়সালা করলে তাদের মধ্যে রক্তপাত বিস্তৃতি লাভ করেন ।
কোন জাতি প্রতিশ্রুতি ভঙ্গ করলে আল্লাহ তাদের ওপর প্রতি শত্রুদের চাপিয়ে দেন ।
আল্লাহ পাক রাব্বুল আলামিন আমাদের প্রত্যেককে দুনিয়া ও আখিরাতের আযাব থেকে রক্ষা করুন এবং সীরাতুল মুক্তাকিন তথা সরল-সঠিক পথ দান করুন ।

The punishment for sin is not only in the hereafter,
there are some sins that people have to suffer in this atonement world. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): He who does evil will be punished for it Surah Nisa, verse 123,. In another verse,
Allah says that the great calamity of human deeds has spread on the water and on the ground. GOD wants to taste the retribution for their deeds. So that they may return.,
Surah Room, verse 41,. Allah Ta’ala warns those who are immersed in sin and forget about the prohibitions of Allah – and whoever turns away from My remembrance, his life will be shortened and I will raise him blind on the Day of Resurrection, Surah Taha verse 124.
Kufr and shirk with Allah is also a serious crime that causes fear and panic among the people. Allah says, “I will instill fear in the hearts of the disbelievers. They have established shirk with Allah.”
Surah Ale Imran verse 151,. According to the hadith, when obscenity spreads in a community in such a way that they openly engage in obscenity, they will be afflicted with incurable diseases which were not present in their ancestors.
Ibn Majah When the interest spreads widely among a nation, the destruction of that nation becomes inevitable. In the Holy Qur’an, Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):
He destroys usury and increases charity. Surah Baqara verse 276,. This destruction and collapse can take place in various ways,
such as the destruction of the usury and the usurer through natural calamities in the heavens and the earth. Both drinking and gambling are the work of the devil.
Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): O you who believe! So stay away from them so that you may prosper. Surah Maeda, verse 90,.
The sinner has to suffer in the world for embezzling the wealth of others, under-weighing, judging unjustly, breaking promises, and punishing for crimes.
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: If people of any nation judge unjustly, bloodshed will spread among them. When a nation breaks its promise,
Allah puts pressure on their enemies. May Allah Almighty protect each of us from the torment of this world and the Hereafter and grant us Siratul Muktakin,
that is, the straight path. Amen !!!
